These are the pictures I took on that very dark day in Poland in August 2009 at the Auschwitz Concentration Camp: where the 1.1 million victims of Israel entered the nightmare, where they slept, where they were burned to ash, and where their ashes were scattered. I stood on the ground of where over 1 million Jewish people were brutally murdered. After several days into my trip to Poland and Israel, this day I could hold up my emotional wall no longer, and I wept bitterly for the first time during the trip. My tears dropped on the very dirt and ashes of these 1.1 million Jews. And all I could think as a human being and as an American living in freedom, America SHOULD have done more. The world, humanity, should have done more. We should have invaded sooner. We should have shouted louder. We should have paid closer attention overseas as God's watchmen on the wall for Israel and the Jewish people... May it NEVER happen again... As for the double-tongued Mahmoud Abbas, head of the PLO (and a leading world terrorist group), who says there was no holocaust, but would rather wipe Israel and the Jewish people off the map, I have no compassion for you or your fraudulent "peace talks". #UnitedWithIsraelForeverby McKade Marshall
